Town & Country Garden Club invites garden club members to exhibit this spring in its Petite Standard Flower Show. The show is being held on Friday, May 15, at ThriveOn King which is an inclusive community hub located in the heart of Milwaukee’s Bronzeville district and where Town & Country holds its monthly meetings.

Nancy Gregory, Town & Country co-president and general chairman of the show, says, "Our flower show honors and remembers the Gimbels Department Store that has been redeveloped as a welcoming space for people to gather and work together toward a healthy and thriving community."

Festive Time at the Schlitz Mansion

The Milwaukee District Garden Clubs and their friends celebrated in the Victorian style at the Schlitz Mansion. The rooms were decked out in their finest for everyone to enjoy.

A big thank you to all of the garden club members who volunteered and helped made the event a success.

The privately-lowed mansion is decorated by its owners and was open to the public for the first time during the holiday season on Dec. 20.
Proceeds from the event will help support the Milwaukee District Garden Clubs Habitat for Humanity plant share project and various districtwide educational projects.
