CALL FOR VOLUNTEERS AND PLANTS!
HABITAT FOR HUMANITY PLANT SHARE JUNE 6
The Milwaukee District Garden Clubs Habitat for Humanity Plant Share will be Saturday, June 6. Last year MDGC provided plants and gardening tools to 124 families. This year, MDGC's Habitat for Humanity Plant Share Project Chairman, Susan Miller, says to expect 150 homeowners!
Homeowners will select annuals and vegetables from 9 to noon at the Habitat for Humanity building at 3726 N. Booth Street in Milwaukee.
"They need garden items such as tools, gloves and pots," Susan says. "If you are dividing your houseplants or perennials this spring, consider donating them."
Contact Susan if you can volunteer or have donations. Download a flyer HERE to learn more.
